Let’s get one thing straight: India isn’t looking for a best friend to gossip with at lunch break. India requires a reliable strategic partner—one that doesn’t engage with Pakistan on the side while expecting India to shoulder the burden in the Indo-Pacific region.
But here we are. The United States says, “India is our key ally against China,” while also playing footsie with Pakistan and ignoring obvious threats like Chinese nationals smuggling crop-killing chemicals. Seriously—how many red flags does it take to trigger an alert?
🧪 Exhibit A: Biochemical Warfare… With Fertilizer?
Two Chinese nationals were recently caught carrying crop-destroying biochemical substances inside India. No, they weren’t trying to grow organic kale — they were allegedly aiming to destroy agricultural livelihoods.
👨🌾 Imagine the fallout:
- Fields destroyed
- Farmers in debt
- Food inflation that makes onions more expensive than iPhones
And yet — crickets from Washington.
Apparently, unless it affects Iowa’s cornfields, it’s not biochemical terrorism, it’s “a developing situation.”
🤝 The U.S. Wants India in the QUAD alliance… but overlooks ties with Pakistan.
Let’s decode the relationship status:
- U.S. to India: “You’re a key part of our Indo-Pacific strategy” 💖”
- India to U.S.: “Cool. But could you maybe stop arming our enemies?”
- U.S. to Pakistan: “Here’s another aid package. Please pretend you’re fighting terrorism.”
From taking credit for the India-Pak ceasefire, to ignoring Pulwama, to giving Pakistan a pass every other Tuesday — America’s support feels more like a LinkedIn endorsement than an actual commitment.
🧠 U.S. Think Tanks & Media: Where Logic Goes to Die
Time for a fun game: Spot the Bias!
🎯 The “Both Sides” Syndrome
Whenever India retaliates after a terror attack, U.S. headlines go:
“Tensions rise between nuclear neighbors.”
Yeah… because blowing up terror camps is totally the same as sending jihadis with RDX.
🏛️ Think Tanks or Think Pranks?
Some prominent U.S. think tanks, often backed by undisclosed donors—potentially from Gulf or Pakistani sources—regularly release glowing reports with titles such as:
- “Kashmir: A Conflict in Crisis”
- “Human Rights in India: The Hidden Struggle”
Funny how they forget to cover:
- Ahmadiyya persecution in Pakistan
- Baloch disappearances
- JeM training camps with room service
📺 U.S. Media: Where Internet Shutdowns in Kashmir = Crisis, But Bombings? Meh.
Here’s how Western media frames South Asia:
- India jails a radical: Authoritarian tendencies rise in New Delhi
- Pakistan shelters terrorists: Strategic ally in the War on Terror
The bar is so low, it’s practically underground.
🧭 Meanwhile in Delhi: India’s Already Swiping Left
Guess what? India’s not waiting around for validation. Instead:
- Talking trade with France and UAE
- Building connectivity with Iran via Chabahar
- Holding military drills with Russia
- Ignoring Western “moral lectures” with a polite smile and a chai
This is what diplomats call “multi-alignment”. We call it “playing 4D chess while the West’s still solving Wordle.”
🔥 Time to Call a Terrorist a Terrorist
India has:
- Launched surgical strikes,
- Bombed terror camps,
- Cleaned up the mess at home.
Now it’s time for the international community — especially the U.S. — to:
- Name and shame groups like LeT, JeM, and Haqqani Network
- Stop giving Pakistan blank cheques wrapped in diplomatic ribbons
- Reinstate FATF grey-listing if non-compliance continues
You can’t fight terrorism with hashtags and handshakes.
🚨 Final Thought: Trust Must Be Earned
India doesn’t want lip service. It wants consistent action.
It doesn’t need “strategic hugs.” It needs strategic clarity.
Until the U.S. gets serious about naming the real threats—whether it’s Pakistan’s ISI or China’s hybrid warfare—India will keep doing what it does best:
Protecting itself. Proudly. Independently. And increasingly… without asking.
